The Amazing Gift of Prayer Ministries was founded by Pastor Joseph McCoon, a retired Minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with over 40 years of service.

Pastor Joseph McCoon graduated from Caribbean Union College (University of the Southern Caribbean) with a degree in Theology and completed a Masters in Pastoral Theology from Andrews University (Berin Springs, MI, USA).

Pastor Joseph McCoon served as a church/district Pastor for 13 years serving in the South Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Pastor Joseph McCoon later served as Stewardship and Trust Services Director and Prayer Ministries Coordinator of the South Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

As Prayer Ministries Coordinator Pastor Joseph McCoon created a vibrant ministry with active participation of over 75% of congregations of the South Caribbean Conference.

Upon retirement from active service Pastor Joseph McCoon desired to share his wealth of knowledge in Prayer Ministries and launched The Amazing Gift of Prayer Ministries.

The Amazing Gift of Prayer Ministries is designed to help us to better understand the awesome power of prayer and to bring us and others closer to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
